Walking

Hi i have a 3yr old son who is being assessed for autism, hes quite tall and doesnt fit in a pram anymore, im really struggling to get him to walk beside me on rains. He just runs off or keeps stopping and dropping to the floor, then wanting to be picked up, just lately i have noticed that hes been covering hes eyes with his hands. Can anyone help with this? And any ideas how to get him walking please? Thanks simon

  • How do you get one on the nhs please?

  • Another option is a Pram sun shade net that covers over the full pram. Your son can still see out but the over stimulation from outside is reduced after all the  lockdown’s in 2020 I had to have the pram sun shade net on my sons pram all the time to help him cope with the outside world again. When we are in the car now, I have a sun shade net that covers the full window in the side he sits in the car even if it’s not sunny I have this on the window it really helps my son from being visually overloaded. I hope you find a solution.

Our current pram from the nhs is an Excel elise and it’s the exact same shape as a Mclaren elise pram. I did purchased Mclaren elise accessories for mine as I felt they were better quality than the Excel elise accessory pack.
