Walking

Hi i have a 3yr old son who is being assessed for autism, hes quite tall and doesnt fit in a pram anymore, im really struggling to get him to walk beside me on rains. He just runs off or keeps stopping and dropping to the floor, then wanting to be picked up, just lately i have noticed that hes been covering hes eyes with his hands. Can anyone help with this? And any ideas how to get him walking please? Thanks simon

  • My son developmental therapist put a referral in to mobility unit at the NHS for a disability pram. My child who is 4 was given the option of a wheel chair or a pram and we opted for the pram they got children up to the age of 7. Ask you child’s paediatrician or GP to put a referral in.
