ADOS-2 Scoring help

I was hoping someone can help me understand my 2 year olds ADOS-2 score.  We have had them assessed recently due to Autism symptoms and also having a sibling with Autism.  The private company assessed them and concluded they are borderline on the ADOS-2 score but could not be diagnosed however looking at the score it suggests they are within the Autism range.  I am possibly looking to contact the company again to clarify but wanted to make sure I am not misinterpreting the data they have given on the scoresheet.  Their scores for module 1 algorith are as follows:

Social Affect - 13

RRB - 1

Total Score 14

These were recorded on the right hand column under a few words spoken.

I am hoping someone with ADOS-2 scoring knowledge can shed some light.

  • I don't know how it works well enough to help, I'm afraid. But as I understand it the scores have to correlate with the persons age. So it might be because he's only 2 that they've interpreted the score that way? Like I said, I don't really know. But it might be something to ask if you contact them for clarification.
