I’ve done everything but glamming, I’ve even done wild camping, you always learn something new when you go camping.. it’s in the preparation and the technique that you hone.
The trick is to keep in mind that refining your craft and getting it more-right next time is where the interest is.
I’ve known people who go camping and then encounter failures and write off camping, all because they don’t pay attention to the details and the experiences; a better seat, better food, better tent, warmer sleep, less wet, smoother packing for the trip, better collaboration.. That is what keeps me interested and adoring of camping; holding onto the wheat, removing the chaff.
Rinse and repeat, teach the next generation or even gain another generation to teach, these are all imperatives that camping can alert you to..
One of the perks of a wild-camping wake-up call..
