Being prosecuted need advice

Need advice my daughter has refused to go to school for the last 4 years the EWO understood and decided that it wasn't in their interest to prosecute the perants, but we have a new EWO and we have just had a letter saying that if my daughters attendens does not improve by March 22 that they will be prosecuting my daughter want go to school there's literally no way of getting her to go.

the new EWO states that she needs to push past her anxiety and go to school.

we also have 2 other children who are being assessed for autism and one child with down syndrome.

my question is what can we do I don't plan to plead guilty in court but is there anything else we can do to stop it going to court.

she's being assessed for autism in March.

  • You could de register from the school and then contact your local authority to electively home educate and provide them significant evidence (and due to the situation you are in probably a home visit) to show that although your child has been absent from school for 4 years they are being educated at home. And show all the educational things you do. Whether that’s practical learning or tradition workbook learning show everything. It is the job of a parent to either send their compulsory school aged children to school or provide them with an education that is suited to their age, aptitude and ability including their Sen needs. As long as you are prepared to home educate and have been providing an education you will be fine. The website education otherwise a lots of great advice.
