Hi, I just anted to ask is it only the NAS who can give a school autism accreditation?
I'm only asking because one of the governors from our local school has told people that their school got autism accredited 2 weeks ago, and asked us to put it up on our local support group site.
We investigated prior to putting up any information but when we rang the NAS they said that the school had made some enquiries but that was all, they were neither accredited or working towards accreditation.
I was just wondering if the NAS was the only place that could award this? I was under the impression it was but wanted to get my facts straight before giving the members any information.
