Schooling 14 year old daughter

Hi everyone

Feel I am hitting a brick wall at the moment.

My daughter is 14 in mainstream school and about to take her options.

However she has high functionning autism and increasing anxiety. She completely masks this in school.

She is struggling to communicate in school with any teachers. This is leaving her very isolated in her classes. However we try to explain this to teachers they cant seem to develop any communication with her beyond her basic needs.

At the weekend she said to me why I am I different? Why can't I speak to teachers?

I know she needs more pastoral support but with no experience of secondary comps in recent years ...I am wondering if this is the norm..and moving her elsewhere isn't going to improve things.

I have even contemplated home schooling but after 2 lockdowns I don't think I could fulfil her needs.

To top it all it was vaccine day at school yesterday and the plans I put in place weren't followed. My daughter ( who never shows emotions in school) was left for over an hour distressed in classes . She then had to go alone to the clinic which was in chaos and she ran away ...luckily within school grounds...even then she was sorted by some older pupils not a member of staff. Needless to say the vaccine didn't happen . Eventually staff intervened and she calmed down for the rest of the day. At no point did anyone contact me and I was left to pick up the pieces at the end of the day.

Has anyone been in a similar situation or can give me some advice?

Thanks
