How do I get my five and a half year old son to ask for the toilet? My Son is being toilet trained at the moment. He has mastered every aspect but he won’t ask to go to the toilet. He has speech and language delay but is verbal. He knows all the words related to toileting and does say them but not when he needs to. We have tried PECS cards but he won’t use those to communicate. Does anyone have any ideas?
