Tactile defensiveness

Hi my teenage son has increasingly become averse to anyone touching him although he will initiate hugs on his own terms sometimes. As he needs self care support this can be challenging but he has developed a mechanism of asking for the touch to be taken away - by us using our hands like a pretend hoover to suck the touch away! It used to only be at home but now he is asking for any teacher/ support worker who touches his hand ( hand over hand support) computer, pen , coat , shoes to remove the touch from those items. It’s becoming very difficult for teachers to support him as this affects their ability to demonstrate new skills which he need to help him learn. He only has minimal oversight ( not on active caseload) from OT. Has anyone had any experience with this or ideas how to support him - I want to respect his need for minimal touch but his requests to ‘take the touch’ away are almost constant. Thanks for reading.
