Our DS currently has a SEN which among other things allows us to choose the school would like him to attend. When the law changes in September 2014 and the EHC plan comes into force we do not think it will include the right to choose a school on the same terms as we can now. My question is, do we retain the rights we already have under his SEN or will they change when the EHC plan comes into force. Potentially this could have a big impact when it comes to moving on to secondary school especially since a lot of the schools in our area are partially selective.
