Grandchild

I am the grandmother of a 3.5 year old granddaughter who has just been diagnosed with autism.  I look after her and her one year old sister once a week but am struggling, particularly during school holidays.  Any advice on how to keep her amused would be very welcome.

  • get big Lego and create a egg shape and let her see u put a toy inside it then see if she can get the toy out.

or do the pass the parcel game

u start with an object or toy, wrapped in layers of newpaper or any paper held on lightly with sellotape

put on 100s of layers and then let her unwrap it.

u could let her watch u create it so she knows whats in there

to play pass the parcel u take turns taking a layer off
