  • What kind of classes do you think your brother would prefer: in person, live online, or pre-recorded ones?

There are some fantastic videos on YouTube that would be free. You could search for some beginner ones for him.

Some websites offer structured online courses with a series of video tutorials in an order to help build up skills. Haven't got a link for one, but I've seen a lot over the years. Costs are often fairly low. Sometimes workshops can be run live online, too.

I'm guessing both the above ideas would be accessible to autistic adults, but it would depend on his specific needs. Having the option to replay online tutorials so there's no time pressure and having structure in learning new skills may be ideal. But depends what he would enjoy most.

As for in person classes, it would probably be best to check out local events notice boards or events websites and search by your local area. Sounds like you may be looking for classes specifically run for autistic adults, so that would need to be the focus of your search. I don't know much about this.

Good luck. Sounds awesome that you're supporting him in learning something!
