Hiya, I am so happy that we have started school again. My daughter has been in a PRU (Pupil Referral Unit) for a long time now but she finished last Thursday after finding out she has a place at a school specializing in autism.
We had 2 members of staff from the pastoral team come round today to discuss school. They are picking her up and taking her to McDonald's for lunch, I mean I'm jealous of that. Next week, they will do activities off site with her to get to know each other and the week after that she'll be starting full time. She knows everything that will be happening. We are all just so happy she is going to this school. She is so excited. Very excited.
Thanks again for all the great ideas, suggestions and advice people have given us while going through a hard time. We really appreciate it and are finally getting somewhere.
