My 8 year old brother has autism and is non-verbal. Within the past couple of weeks, he has started throwing daily tantrums. He screams and cries and he will pull the hair of anyone who tries to get near to him. He does this about 1-2 times a day and then he will calm down as if nothing was wrong in the first place. It's impossible to find out what's wrong as he has no way of communicating his problem with us. We haven't been able to send him to school as he is likely to throw tantrums there as well and he may hurt other kids. I was wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar and if they know what might be upsetting him?
