my son is 3years and 6m old and i have a feeling he is autistic. He has some traits such as repeating words and phrases, repetitive movements, liking things in a certain order and not being as verbal as his sister. Does anybody know how i would get a formal assessment for a child his age please? Nursery say they don't do it and to speak to GP. GP says not to wory until he starts primary school.
I'm not having that as it took the education system 10 years to diagnose my niece! Will CAMHS assess a child my sons age for autism? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
