Good morning, I have a son who was moved to a primary school outside our catchment due to severe bullying. I understand it doesn't give him automatic transition to the feeder high school.
His placing request was refused and we have appealed as he would not cope starting a new school without the support of his peers and the familiarity of the high school.
We did state in the placing request the detrimental effect moving would cause him. But it was refused.
We have an appeal video call in a few weeks and was looking to chat to anyone who has been through this process.
