what to look for in a ASD school?

Bounce might be offered a place at a ASD school, the school was a MLD one and has changed to ASD september 2012 or 2011 (not quite sure) Its not really fully established and if SENAR say yes place wont be available till September has school is being remodeled for Yr1, reception classes (has they currently dont have any!!!). Thing is even though I have viewed a few I knew back then (september 2012) that I could go back and view again or call them up. But since this one is not one of my choices but SENARS (all full round here!!! :(  ), I really dont know what to expect.

I did ask teacher from school today when she came to observe bounce but she wasnt at all helpful and since class is not ready till september I dont know what i might possibly be sending him to!!! Any ideas??????

  • I dont feel confident with this school at all, I would prefer to go with one of the ones i have seen but both of them have been refused a place due to them being full. I am willing to go to tribunal, issue at the moment is getting statements finalised and SENAR are very eager to name a school.

    Issue with school,that has offered bumblebee a place has well has cantview it till 13th march but statement is 9 weeks over due from being finalised!!!!!!

    Its such a frustrating time at the moment cyrstal 12
