Online screening Autism tests - How accurate have you found them?

Hi All (again:) )

I was wondering whether anyone has tried any online screening tests ( CHAT, Baron- Cohen's online AQ test, ASSQ etc) , which ones they were and if you/your child was diagnosed with (or told they didn't have autism), whether the results were fairly consistent between the online tests vs the actual formal assessment.  Any experiences would be really gratefully received:)

  • I did four or five of them, which were all pretty similar - can't remember which websites now.  The results were reasonably consistent and all over the line.  In the UK, the ones GPs used is the AQ10 and he sent me that also.  It should be on line some where.  I fill that in and it was also over the line.  My GP took the AQ10, together with my print outs on the online questionnaires, a list of developmental stuff which I noted - my monumental food issues etc, and my reasoning for needing an assessment.  He referred me straight away.
