Please help, am confused!

Hello, firstly I am new to all of this. My son saw a paediatrician bk in dec and on the report says my son has autistic trait's and recommended that we return to uk, for him to access early bird or Thomas training! I am looking at the aldershot area to settle. My son is due to start preschool January time. Do I go about it the same way I did with my other daughter who doesn't have autism. Do I put him in a pre school and they will do reports etc and get all the correct people involved! Am currently based overseas. How do I find out whether the pre schools cater for my autistic son? Or is it standard that every pre school/school caters for them? And what is the process? Sorry for all the questions have seemed to got myself so confused over the situation and just want some1 to point me in the right direction. Many thanks x

  • hi Newtothis - welcome to the site.  If you have a look at the home page you can find links which will hopefully answer at least some of your questions.  Also there's the nas helpline via the home page as well.  The info should set you on the right track.  Just pop back on here if you need any further help.
