Hi, I'm new here and i'm a mum of a 4 year old little boy. He's high functioning/bright Autistic (with demand avoidance) and has Sensory Processing Disorder. I'm experiencing great difficulty trying to find the right school for my little boy. Dual Multiple Exceptionality (high and low ability - spikey profile) doesn't seam to get much recognition amongst mainstream Senco's.
Sounds very similar to my presentation at that age. Can’t offer much advice though on schools. In the end my parents felt compelled to home educate. If you don’t mind me asking though where were the regions of exceptionality? Might be able to recommend some Extra curricular resources Depending on the area.
