- Hi, my son is 11 years old and was diagnosed a couple of years ago. They said then it wouldn't do him any good or be of any benefit telling him he has autism.
- He's in his last term in junior school, main stream school and getting ready for secondary school. Would help him to know he has autism or would it cause issues?
- Hes classed as higher functioning, to be honest you wouldn't know he was autistic, just a little different.
- We're thinking of telling him over the summer holidays but not sure how, when where why what......arrghhhh
- Any advice or your experience?
