It's happening again...

Hi again, I'm just totally fed up.

My 14 y.o is having more issues in school and I don't know how to help her.

Basically today, she went to school and she had 'Science' which was fine until the teacher gave her revision to do since she's Yr 10. My daughter is fine with it but there were so many questions on the piece of paper so she felt overwhelmed. It also doesn't help that it is windy and the windows were open (due to Covid). The blinds were down and they kept banging on the glass making a noise, as well as this, the door kept banging. She got overwhelmed she couldn't move until all of a sudden she walked out and sat in the hall.

When break arrived (after that lesson) she sat in the corridor crying so her tutor checked on her and gave her food and a drink but my daughter didn't want to talk so the teacher politely left. She then had P.E and she was still in a state and didn't go in so the teacher left the door unlocked for her in case she changed her mind. But instead things got worse. She didn't know how to express her feelings so started kicking chairs around the hall. This carried on until just before lunch when the headteacher came.

When she was told to stop, she told the head to 'f off' and walked round the school. When she came back she sat on the floor, the head sat with her and tried to see what the problem was and it finally came out a bit. My daughter agreed to sit in the SENCO's room since she wasn't in and they had a chat and she calmed down. During lunch, her tutor came and had lunch with her and a chat (my daughter never eats lunch in school anymore and takes it home. I don't know why yet). After lunch, she had English and agreed to stay in the room while her teacher (her tutor) taught her (and another student in the room opposite) which was amazing.

I'm not completely understanding her behaviour at the moment and how to help. Today has been stressful for everyone. How can we help her during school and the days when it's windy?I'm lost and need help.

Thanks again. x
