I need help ASAP..
My 14 y.o daughter isn't acting herself...
On Sunday, she fell over on the concrete onto her knee and was in a lot of pain, a lot of swelling and couldn't bend her knee. She has been in a lot of pain ever since so I took her to hospital last night and they said she has soft tissue damage...
Anyways, after she has fallen, she hasn't been acting herself. I understand she is in pain and she's been taking pain killers. She was in a lot of pain in school. To the point where she can't sit down, stand up, move or walk, without it hurting obviously. She has just seemed down, then she's happy, then she's down again. I am aware she is in pain but this isn't like her...
Her dad is a paramedic and has helped us through this a lot but she's in so much pain and like I said, she isn't acting like herself. I don't know what to do...
How can I help her? Any ideas and help is appreciated.
