At the end of my tether

Hi,

I have a son who is 16 and was diagnosed ASD 8 years ago. My husband left at the beginning of last year and I live with my son and my 3 other children. I am still adjusting to being a single parent but and finding it so difficult at the moment and am at the end of my tether and don’t know where to turn for help.

My son is currently in college but since the college has been shut he is struggling to do lessons at home. He doesn’t talk much and just wants to be left alone. His college has emailed me with concerns he isn’t attending lessons so I have been trying to encourage him but he isn’t bothered and just tells me to shut up all the time. He won’t interact with the family and is just rude to me and his siblings which is causing stress and is really impacting my mental health.

I just don’t know who to turn to or where to go for help
