How long is the wait for a parent to parent call back ?

Hi,

I put in a request to speak to a parental volunteer for advice and support in November 2020.

I am still waiting for that call. I had an acknowledgment at the beginning of January that i was still on the list.

Does anyone know when i could receive a call ? Obviously times are maybe unknown at this unsure time due to Covid effects but just wondered if anyone could shine a light ?. . . . . . . i really need some support/

I'm sorry to hear that you haven't received a call from a parental volunteer yet.

You would need to contact the Parent-to-Parent team directly for the most up to date information on when you can expect someone to contact you. You can either call them and leave a message at 0808 800 4106 or you can fill out their enquiry form for an email response here: https://www.autism.org.uk/what-we-do/help-and-support/parent-to-parent/enquiry-form

You may also like to contact our Autism Helpline team, who may be able to provide you with information and advice in the meantime.

You can call them on 0808 800 4104 (Monday to Friday 10am to 3pm.Please note that the Helpline is experiencing a high volume of calls and it may take a couple of attempts before you get through to speak to an adviser.
