Obsession

My 21 year old son is obsessed with teddy bears, he’s got 2 six foot ones and about 20 on his bed. I discussed with him that he can’t have anymore as it’s becoming unhealthy which he accepted at the time but now wants 3 more, I’ve said no and he’s so angry and upset. I know he takes comfort from them and would never take away any he has already as he regards them as his friends and comfort, any advise?

  • The big problem at the moment is that specialist teddy bear stores are considered non essential and are currently closed.  Try to explain that to him.

Teddy bears give a lot of people a lot of comfort.

I bought my mother a very expensive, German, hand made, Herman teddy for her  65th birthday,. It even made a sound as it was gently rocked.  She loved it and treasured it until the end.  In fact it was the only  one of my presents that she ever liked.
