Hi - my step son was diagnosed at 17 but we have only recently gained a copy of his report so nothing has been done in the last four years. He is now refusing to seek help and we don't know what to do, he hasn't even read his report. We can't force him as he's an adult but we want to try and find a way to help him lead a fulfilling life but all he does is moan at us like we're a massive inconvenience to him. We're not concerned about the fact that he's not working or contributing to the household we are worried that how do you help someone who won't help themselves. We just don't know how to approach him and have an honest and open discussion.
