13 year old daughter

It has only taken 4 years to get a diagnosis for my daughter. She has Autism and we as her parents are now wondering where to turn to next. 
She is home schooling at the moment, as her friends are she didn’t want to go in and previous to COVID every day was a battle to get her up and into school.

She also struggles to go to sleep, changing clothes and putting them on takes a lot of effort.

my husband and I look forward to reading the messages on this forum to gather ideas that maybe we can put into practice with our daughter x

  • Dear, I can only imagine what you, your husband, and daughter go through. When our daughter was diagnosed with autism, we felt like the world had fallen apart. We were scared, mainly by how will she deal with this harsh society we live in. It's been tough initially, but things started changing after we moved to Europe. I would have never thought that Europe would welcome us so warmly and that my daughter would be accepted for who she is. By the way, regarding clothing, if she's struggling with choosing an outfit, or you feel like she's not satisfied with what she's wearing based on her mood, I suggest you let her choose herself the brand, the items, the accessories. That's what we did with our daughter. Chloe is a big fan of this clothing brand https://www.kamelino.ro/, and it's so easy to dress her up now that she's found what she likes.
