I'm starting to see lots of parent carers of Autistic children saying on other forums that they had the vaccine last week / are getting it this week ..... does anyone know if we have been bumped up the list?

Aside from the fact I’m pregnant, I spoke with the consultant at the hospital and he told me the guidance is quite clearly stating that us as carers are not eligible for the vaccine any sooner than your age category defines. He said it is only carers in care homes that are eligible as a priority and because my son is not in a care home or attending any kind of respite residence etc and I care for him at home that means even if I wasn’t pregnant I’m not a priority. I’m 39 so I’m way way down the line. My son will be 5 in April
? Not that I'm aware of. We're still in first phase and from what I saw on the media this morning the government is still being lobbied because certain groups are *not* being made a priority (can't remember which,it was too early, carers of learning disabled I think)
