Parent to 3yo girl recently diagnosed with autism

Hello 

I’ve recently had my little girl diagnosed with autism and I’m in a funny place of not really knowing what to do or know where to go for support as no friends and family don’t really have any experience with autism. Any support and help would be appreciated even if it’s to make friends with parents of children with autism of a similar age.

  • You need to change your username and add something in your bio about being a parent of a child with autism as we get a lot of spammer on the community page. 

    The national autism society has a general enquiry line on their website you can call that can sign post you to information, Demand is really high at the moment. Their is also the National Autism Society Directory on this website That can find autism related services in your area that may help. The directory is outdated and may find the service/organization have changed or no longer exist. but it's a starting place.
