huge school problems, any advice would be lovely

My son is 9 with high functioning autism, for the last 6-8 weeks of school he has only attended morningings due to a failed reintegration plan, he was excluded befor october halfterm for 6 days then on advice from a professional his next exclusion doubled to 12 days which ended a few weeks befor the xmas break. both times this inegration plan has been used with very minor adjustments. so far this week he has had 4 brillient mornings but i am lothed to be hopefully that he will included breaktime play for the next week, which should happen.

I dont know how to make awarness of this to be brought to somesort of meeting to determine weather this is discrinatry or not. the exclusions are due to behaviours linked with his ASD. i would greatly aprechiate any advice or previouse experiance from anyone.

thankyou for reading

  • thankyou both for your advice, i am hopefully that i will have enought ime between drop off and pick up next week to try and get thru to Ipsea, this is now the 2nd setting we have been in and both have helped for one school year and then appear to give up all together. Its very hard to find the time to make the phone calls needed with the small amount of time i have where he is in the setting each day. by the end of today he will have had 4 hrs of education this week.
