How to talk to people about a diagnosis

Months after my daughters diagnosis im yet to tell any family (bar my mum) and almost all of my friends.

I can not find the words or the right situation to prompt me to talk about it.

How did you all let people know?

  • hi Cuppatea - is it something to do with your family + friends + how they may react or is it something you need to resolve within yourself?  One thing's for certain - the diagnosis is a fact, so ultimately it will become known.  It's up to you how it becomes known.  I do understand but I think you ultimately need to take charges of the situation, or it'll happen without you.  Is there anyone at all you can talk to to help you ?
