My lad seems to be fascinated with fish so I am thinking of buying a tank and a few fish for him but when I googled fish and autistic I found loads of information on how fish oils help autistic children and one site said it's been know to cure some people?

I will look further in to it but just wondered if anyone else used these fish oils?

  • Try anything you think will help you , IQ liquid fishoil has been promoted as good. It can't do you any harm. Omega 3 & 9

     

  • hi Bob - if cod liver oil cured autism I think we'd all know by now.  We know it's good for us + as the others posters say, a healthy diet/lifestyle is always beneficial.  Have you decided to get the fish + fish tank?

  • Nothing can cure autism. The idea of a cure is pure quackery and scientifically unfounded. What helps with concentration is a healthy balanced diet, of which fish can form a healthy part, and plenty of fresh air and exercise.

    i worked in a healthfood store and can tell you that fish oil helps with consentration and is known as brain food. Whether it cures autism i don't know but its a nice thoughtSmile
