School admit disability discrimination !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My son is 5 and has Autism he was permanently excluded back in October and I have been taking every step to make sure I get Justice for my son. Today I recieved a letter stating the school admit liability to Disability Discrimination towards my son !!!

A very good Xmas present but the battle stillgoes on.xxSmile

  • Totally i have always believed that permanently excluding a child with additional needs should never be thought off and I was and still am distgusted by what they did to our family....

    My son finds it hard to make friendships and he had some good friends that he went into reception with from pre-school and the hardest thing was telling him the day after he was 'kicked out' was that he wasnt going back to school and he wouldnt be with his friends again ....heartbreaking.....

    I am taking the school to court for excluding him and seperatly I am taking them to court for discrimination. I have a solicitor and my court date is in January..

    Lots of people have told me to leave it alone and stop because it has caused me soo much stress but i wont, I love my son and feel that the education system needs to change and its disgusting that they can do this to a 5yr old child ans stigmatise a family so easily...it makes me angry life is no bed of roses and systems that are there to help children are failing and making life more challenging than they already are....

    I wont give up on my son like others have and throughout lifes challenges Ill be with him all the way, your right its what you do as a MUM xxxx
