Theschool permanentlyexcluded him after not putting other things in place to try and help him . He has a full educational statement with a full time one -to-one . It was handled very poorly and I launched an  appeal which continues but I'm taking the school to court for discrimination and they have just admitted it and wrote an apology. It's just poor the way mainstream schools let children down with SEN x

BRILLIANT!! any admittion is better than nothing at all, which many do, and placing blame on the child or parent, which also sadly many do

obviously this doesnt mean they will do anything to change it, but at least its confirmation that they DID wrong by your child and your family in relation to his disablity and needs

i totally agree with you, i have heard so many horror stories of mainstream schools and treatment of autistic or disabled kids, its sickening, i knwo my own partners school years were filled with trauma, some at the hands of teachers. its disgusting that in this day and age , my partner is a grown man, and we still hear of these kind of exclusions and treatment of autistic and disabled children
