Hi my 3 year old son has just been diagnosed today with autism, although its something we have known for a while (still feel in shock today though!). I'm after any advice or experience for telling our 5 1/2 year old daughter. She is very grown up and understanding for her age but I'd like something to help me explain for her. I've looked about getting a book or info sheet or even something on the net to help me expain to her. Our son is very verbal but can bequite a aggressive towards us and his sister and he also repeaher things over and over and copies her a lot, which really annoys her, so looking for something to explain these types of behaviours to her to help her understand and not be so frustrated with him. There are so many things I don't know where to start so any recommendationswould be appreciated. Thanks.
