Hello newbie here. We have two autistic home educated children DD 17 DS 10 both with very different traits and both with anxiety. The problem is there is only me at home all day. Hubbie just gone back to work after being home on furlough and boy dont I know it I never really realised how hard it was with both of them(you just about cope) until I had help for the last several weeks. I am realising just how demanding on my time my DS is and how my DD just has to muddle through. She has severe anxiety and barely talks and doesn't leave the house even more so now with covid !! My DS is still in pull ups day and night so a lot of personal care for him. He is also getting to the age where he doesn't want it to be me to change him or wash him mornings but is unable to do it himself. Hubbie been doing it while off and DS has been upset last two days with me doing it. He also has been up more in the night again as cant sleep because of anxiety, that was reduced dramatically with hubbie home. Sorry my post has no real meaning to it just needed to vent.
