Community paediatrician referral

Hello!

I have posted on her before. 
I have an 22 month old daughter who has problems with her communication, language and other skills.

She has now been referred to the Community Paediatrician and I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what I should expect to happen next? 
I have also been told we will have to do ‘parenting’ classes which has concerned me. 
Any tips and advise on what is to come In the next phases of the journey would be so helpful

    If you're looking for information about the process of getting an ASD diagnosis you might want to have a look at the advice page here: https://www.autism.org.uk/about/diagnosis/children.aspx which will walk you through the diagnostic process if your doctor decides to refer your daughter for assessment, including what to expect before, during and after the assessment. If you look towards the bottom of the page there are also links to the NAS helpline, if you want to talk to someone directly, and Family Support services, if you're interested in getting support from other parents.
