education

my son received diagnosis aafter four years of on going dialogue with the school he is now 13 and now school say can't have him the lea say he should be in maistream school  in all of this I have an anxious boy struggling with diagnosis a school that won't let him go on trips  and yet he just has some issues in certain subjects where his confidence is lacking  -

teachers have said he is a legend in some subjects  so right now don't know which way to turn other than getting some bbalance for him - we haven't access right now to . Any support or a advice other than books .  has anyone been through something similar?

  • School seem too reluctant to have you son in school. They can only recommend schools but if LEA say he is suited in Mainstream then he can stay and its all about the school sorting themselves out. If your son has been statemented provision can can be made via his statement, Its is good to have a school on your side, easy said than done I know!!!

Seems to me that looking at other schools might be a good idea, the last thing you need is a school making life hell for your son.
