Hi everyone

my friend has a son who is extremely bright and has a passion for all things space.  He needs to mix with others and wants to, but he wants to mix with kids who have the same interest has himself.  They live in rural Ireland but have good internet access and the boy is very good at technology.  Any ideas out there?  I'd be grateful of any ideas at all.  The family are very stressed.

  • Hello Abnid. You could be describing my son. In fact, I thought you were! Our son is 7, also extremely bright with a passion for all things space. He goes deep. It's amazing. He has asked for a "space friend" - someone he can share his love of space, technology, curiosity and gaming with. We also live in rural Ireland (Kerry) and have a strong online lifestyle. We would love for our son to connect - virtually or IRL - with someone who shares his passion.

    Um, I now suspect that the post I replied to was actually written by our very supportive friend. It seems I have replied to my own request. BIG Derp. Anyway ... if there is anyone else out there who would like to connect with my son, and share his passions with, I'd love to hear. Thank you!
