Once again my 28 year old son has been refused PIP. He suffers meltdowns daily at the moment. I am at a loss now on how to get these PIP assessors to understand his ASD. They actually said he appeared normal during the assessment, did not appear anxious or withdrawn. They even said there was no evidence of cognitive impairment. I don’t know what to do next whether it is worth appealing or just give up any advice would be greatly appreciated.
