8 year old girl - where do I start?

Hello everyone and firstly thank you for reading, I am new to this and new to everything to do with autism, although I have always thought my daughter may have issues its never been urgent or affected her massively.

My daughter currently has support in school for anxiety, she has been through a bit of a weird time where she stopped seeing her father as he was abusive to his partner while my daughter was in his care. Long story short she now sees him supervised once a month for 2 hours.

Background my daughter has always been as I have always described her 'black and white' she doesnt see things in between. She is very smart and intelligent, always top marks in school and glowing parents evenings, is seen as the 'goody two shoes' in relation to school and home life. She likes to do everything right, how it should be, how the rules state, which leads me onto a list of 'symptoms' or characteristics I believe she has

-Routine - likes things to be the same, beditme, food, clothes

-Taking everything literally - doesnt understand when you are joking and gets frustrated by jokes that are sarcastic to the point you have to tell her the truth

- Struggles to understand sayings (e.g today I said its written all over your face and she just couldnt cope with that)

-Recently has started struggling with class in school if she is doing group work and one person isnt complying with the rules she gets stressed and upset.

-Checking all doors and windows are locked every night

-Worrying unnecessarily about silly things to the point she cant sleep (e.g what if school isnt open tomorrow)

-Has to answer everything correctly and doesnt understand if she is correcting someone that she is being rude

Theres lots more but I cant think right now. I believe she may have Aspergers or maybe high functioning Autism. Her life isnt hugely impacted and she isnt struggling but I dont know if I should or shouldnt pursue this. If I even did where would I go with it?

Thank you all for reading xx
