Hello everyone
Currently having some issues with my ASD 3 year old who is a great and fearless climber. He has on 2 occasions climbed our garden fence into the neighbours garden. Whilst no harm has been done, this is clearly a worrying situation for us, and the neighbours are worried about him encountering their dog (he hasn't so far and is a bit afraid of dogs, so not sure he would try and get over if he saw the dog out there). He has significant social communication difficulties and it's not possible to explain to him why he shouldn't be leaving our property on his own (the neighbours garden is well fenced in so not concerned he may escape to the road!). Though we make every effort to supervise and watch him in the garden, it's impossible to keep an eye out every second of the day and I feel really bad about the situation - he's only exploring as far as he can see. Any advice or tips would be appreciated. Many thanks
