Advice for young female care workers

*Don't be an overconfident care bear. When clients suffer nervous breakdowns, don't flee - then ask a male care worker to step in.

*Don't say you're a fast food junkie ex-student. Clients will reject meal prep offers, live off microwavable dinners all week - then flock to the local pub for a Sunday roast, without you.

*Don't let your smartphone / social media addiction take priority over clients. And don't say out loud "can't function properly without smartphone".

*Don't call in sick - then peddle your other employment on Facebook. When you're at home, don't bullshit on Facebook about supporting clients.

*Don't raise your voice pitch, blink the long lashes, flip the hair extensions. If your ex-boyfriend kicked you to the curb, likely for valid reasons. Male clients are not to be used as a utility for repairing your damaged ego. Some males are actually frightened of being flirted with.. who knew?

*Don't be an intentional gaslight. Don't ask clients questions - then reply "hmm.. that sounds interesting" to every answer. If clients do the same thing back, don't pull out the #believewomen victim card.
