Aggressive

Hi my 7 year old son is diagnosed with autism and adhd. He has always struggled going to school although when he is there they say he’s ok. My problem is he is getting more angry and hitting, punching, kicking, throwing and breaking things. Nearly every day he hits and punches me. He screams he hates me every day to. We are going to see about medication next week but I don’t know what to do to help him, he says he doesn’t know why he’s angry, but then says it’s because he hates school and I make him go. Any advice please

There will generally be a reason for this and it is important to try and understand the trigger for the behaviour when developing strategies.
