Parent of a 5 year old with autism and adhd

Hi there am new to this so not sure how it works my son was diagnosed when he was 3 and a half with autism and just recently been diagnosed with adhd I also have a 3 and 1 year old. I am just woudering how every one copes with say to day life as ssible 9 out of 10 of the times I feel like am not doing a great job I lose my temper quite alot is it me or dose anyone else? Tia xx

I only found this forum yesterday and reading through some of the comments makes me realize we are not alone in this and that helps.

Hi thank you for replying, I feel it's getting more often that I do I also di think part of it is not fully understanding him which I feel guilty for as it's not his fault I just dread every day as I know what it's going to be like l? Xx

Our Daughter is 8 and diagnosed with Autism and Learning Difficulties. She can be quite violent to me, her mam and her brother and we are really struggling since Christmas. Its natural to lose your temper we are just human you are not alone in this. Nobody really understands what its like for the child and the parent/siblings.
