Hi all,
I have a 14 yo daughter with autism and I'm trying to help her get more friendships. She's home-schooled so she doesn't get the opportunity to see or meet people, and she's losing touch with the friends she had when she went to normal school.
We live in Norfolk and I don't really know how she can meet up with people her own age - we live close to Norwich and I can't find/don't know how to find suitable social groups.
She's undiagnosed and the NHS won't assess her because they only take referrals after getting a report from an Educational Psychologist from school... which she doesn't have, being home-schooled... all of which means I can't access any support for her with this.
Any suggestions appreciated about what you've done for your children, or anything you know about.
