Hi this is madhavi, my son is 13 years old with severe autism and learning difficulties. We are planning to move to London, could you please suggest us which schools are good around Greenwich for autism ? In terms of social care which are the best councils in and around london. Please suggest. Thankyou.

Alternatively you might like to contact our Autism Helpline who may also be able to help. You can call them on 0808 800 4104 (Monday to Thursday 10am to 4pm, Friday 9am to 3pm).Please note that the Helpline is often very busy and it may take a couple of attempts before you get through to speak to an advisor.

I am sorry I don't have any relevant personal experience. The Local Authority should have a list , the so called Local Offer on their website.
There is also a list of approved independent special schools and schools under section 41. I assume your son has an EHCP.

Normally you would do your research, like ask questions here and visit a few to get your own sense.
