hi im emz and im 17. my sister is 14 and has autism and was diagnosed when we were very young i have always worried about her and love her so much. recently we have been so close and it makes me so happy i am more involved in her school life. i remember when we were younger i used to have workbooks that i would do with her because i find sometimes with schools they tend to underachieve with kids who have autism. i was wondering if anyone knew any text or workbooks or resources i could use with my sister to supplement her education because i firmly believe education should not stop about school. She is verbal but does not speak too much, she is very into art( and quite good too) she does not have a learning disability but would not be with the level kids her age may be. she is in our school but not in most mainstream classes and is not doing the main course. anyone could help me i would be very grateful as i just want what’s best for her, sending lots of love to everyone!!
