Any advice on car seat safety son with Asd who likes to escape

hes an escape artist and can undone houddini straps and has started to get his arms free of his car seat when the cars moving to try and get out.

  • Hi, I don't have experience of stopping a child escaping from the car seat straps, but I am an adult who finds car seat belts really uncomfortable. I endure using them because I have to, but I put padding where the belt crosses my shoulders.(Obviously they have to be fairly tight fitting to be any use, and that's the area which feels the most irritating.) So it might help to do something similar for your son, if you aren't already.
